In Asia, creative solutions to help street food cooks survive

In some places, the community is paying for street vendors, such as in Rangoon, Burma's largest city, with a crowd-funding campaign.
Despite the restrictions, street vendors continued to sell their kitchens where and when they could survive, despite the risks and police crackdown.
"We want to make sure that street vendors have the choice to stay at home," says Emilie Roell, a member of the Doh Eain group behind the initiative.
Doh Eain is always keen to hear from companies, NGOs or individuals wanting to join, collaborate or contribute, either with funds, materials, skills and/or time.
