The most recent street to receive a make-over is the back alley that lies behind the lower blocks of 31st Street and Bosunpat Street, and is now decorated with traditional Myanmar crafts for residents and visitors to enjoy. It is a 10th street to receive a makeover.
This particular downtown Alley Garden was designed by social enterprise Doh Eain, to create a space that engages all five senses. The community co-designed space includes elements that showcases Myanmar's iconic arts and crafts.
Doh Eain is always keen to hear from companies, NGOs or individuals wanting to join, collaborate or contribute, either with funds, materials, skills and/or time.
